Multiracial Revolution

Recently, Ariana Miyamoto was crowned as Miss Universe Japan.  Miyamoto, who is half-Black (her father is an African-American, and her mother is Japanese), was raised in Japan, and suffered a variety of racist episodes while growing up in Japan.  In homogeneous Japan, was nothing short of groundbreaking and revolutionary.

Indeed, undaunted by past discrimination, Miyamoto has vowed to breakthrough racial prejudices in Japan and create an environment where racial background is not an issue.

While she’s doing that, there are some things that you can do in your own home and life to help further the multiracial revolution.

1. Tweet your support for Miyamoto

2. Send Derek Jeter an “Enjoy Your Retirement” e-card

3. Kiss someone of another race (remember to ask permission first)

4. Listen to the Multiracial Family Man Podcast https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/multiracial-family-man/id969793342?mt=2
