As an interracial couple with a Biracial son, my wife and I are intent on making sure we commemorate Black History Month and ensure that our son understands this half of his background and heritage.

 

Gladly, there is much to be celebrated.  The current movie, Red Tails, is but one small illustration of that.

 

Regrettably, though, there is much work that needs to be done.  As we all know, too often, non-Black America is unaware of the contributions of Black Americans to this country’s history.  To shine some light on this problem in the hopes of rectifying that situation, I offer here the Top 10 Most Common Questions/Comments Made by White People About Black History Month:
