Multiracial Stuffed Animal

Written by Alex on July 31, 2015 - 0 Comments

Several years back, my wife and I started a stuffed animal company.  We replicated a design of a stuffed animal that my mother made for me and called it by the same name — Pigamoose.

Pigamoose is part pig, part moose, all plaid and very different.  As a kid I loved it, and it was a thrill and honor to recreate it.

As I look at it now, it occurs to me that Pigamoose is the quintessential multiracial stuffed animal.  It’s a combination of different things that is a whole greater than the sum of its parts, and it cannot be easily categorized.

As I thought that, it seemed to me that maybe there’s a story to be told there.  I think there may be.  And, I’m looking to you for some input.

Where is Pigamoose from?  What’s his backstory?  How can he be a helper and inspiration to multiracial kids?

Let us know.
