News from the Crib: Staying Up Late

Written by Alex on November 5, 2013 - 2 Comments

My wife and I have a 2-yeard old son named Ivan. He is very concerned that parents do right by their children (he is especially worried about my parenting skills). Ivan has decided to help out new parents by issuing a regular newsletter called:

#TeamIvan’s: News From The Crib

This week, a special issue dedicated to dealing with children who stay up late.

QUESTION: Our 2 year old keeps resisting going to bed and insists on staying up late.  What should we do?

ANSWER: Stock the fridge with food, leave him the remote and go to sleep.  He’ll fall asleep fast enough.  If that doesn’t work, open a day trading account and ask your toddler to start trading for you on Japan’s Nikkei index when it opens in the week hours of the morning.

    Awww…great advice! Lol!

I raised five so I might also add, check what he is eating during the day. Chamomile tea is GREAT..just 1/3 cup will dond make sure he is burning enough energy during the day. He may not need a nap if he is napping and last but not least… organic is the way to go with food these days. Between the environment, water & what is being sprayed on our foods, organic is safest

I love your FB posts and these articles!

    Hope this helps!
